DAo Studio supports daylight analysis. Its results must be interpreted within the method's scope and assumptions.
Scientific scope
The DAo calculation reproduces the method and time convention of the reference workbook. DF estimation interpolates side-lit room and courtyard models within the domains shown in the interface.
Professional responsibility
Results do not replace a climate-based simulation, an on-site measurement or regulatory verification. Users must review inputs, units, assumptions and suitability for the case under study.
Traceability
Reports and exports include parameters, model version and calculation domain where applicable. Keep this information with any result used in technical documentation.
Intellectual property
The scientific method belongs to its authors and is cited in the references section. NORVEXS developed the web implementation.
